This work in this exhibit was created by inmates of the Burlington County Prison in Mount Holly, New Jersey dating from the mid-1950s to when the prison closed in 1965. Due to restoration of the prison, most of this work does not exist anymore and it is only through these images that we can view what might have been happening in the minds of these men.
